Meet Kaweloleimakua (Kawelo) Schweitzer-Kapiko, the visionary Founder/President of Kapiko Strategic Solutions and Chairman of Kapiko Group. A small business defense contractor and former Army soldier, Kawelo brings key skills in physical, protection, and information security to the forefront of our strategic initiatives.

Born and raised in Kailua, Oahu, Kawelo is a proud graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo with a Bachelors in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. Continuously expanding his expertise, he is currently pursuing a Masters in International Relations and Global Security, demonstrating a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements.

Beyond the office, Kawelo is an avid traveler, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures. As a fitness enthusiast, he embraces a balanced approach to life. Kawelo treasures moments spent with friends, family, and his loyal companion, Graz, embodying the essence of leadership that defines Kapiko Strategic Solutions and Kapiko Group.

Meet Andrew Kahanu Frias, a proud native of Kahaluu, Oahu. A graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo, he initially dedicated himself to teaching 'olelo Hawaii (Hawaiian language) to keiki (children). With a passion for education, Andrew furthered his expertise, earning a master's degree in Teaching.

Andrew's journey evolved as he embraced a new opportunity in youth programs with Lili’uokalani Trust. Demonstrating dedication and leadership, he ascended through the ranks to senior staff.

Currently, Andrew serves as a cultural advisor/consultant and holds a pivotal role as a member of the board of directors for Kapiko Group. His commitment to cultural preservation and community engagement defines Andrew's impactful contributions to both education and organizational leadership.
